A. I have just inflated the tires of a bamboo bike2 that has been lying dormant in the attic of my parents' house for a long time. Although there is rust in some parts, the bamboo frame, gears, rims, brakes, pedals, and saddle are still the same as they were 12years ago. This morning, the bamboo bike2 rode about 10 km past the nostalgic scenery of rice fields, dams, and onion huts in Kumatori Town, Sennan County, Osaka Prefecture. 12 years later, the pedals of the bamboo bike 2 started moving again!
B. In the afternoon, the bamboo bike2 attempted a 30 km round trip hill climb. The front 3 and rear 7 gears worked smoothly.

The local community was holding a "Danjiri Festival (wooden cart-pulling)," and I and bamboo bike2 enjoyed the lively and vigorous festival for the first time in a long time, surrounded by the music of drums, flutes, and gongs. P.S. flutes are made from bamboo.
@Kumatori, Osaka
Today's mileage: 40 km, total distance 9,640 km (since 2010)
Sincerely regards, Bamboo bike with Bamboo Samurai, Takashi
